A Cerebral Angiogram

 FURTHER HISTORY

  • The patient’s mother suddenly remembered that her son had undergone a cerebral angiogram at age 1 via a femoral puncture, at which time a doctor had advised her that her son should not undergo this procedure again.
  • The pediatrician confirmed that the patient had another lymphangioma in the femoral region.

 FAMILY HISTORY

  • Paternal uncle has a lymphangioma in his leg, as does his daughter (the patient’s paternal first cousin).
  • Patient has one sibling with mental retardation.
  • Maternal grandfather had glaucoma.
