VISUAL EXAMINATION
Corrected Visual Acuity    OD: 20/30
 OS: 20/400
   
Intraocular Pressure  OD: 15 mm Hg
 OS: 46 mm Hg
   
Extraocular Motility  OD: Normal
 OS: Severely limited in all directions; 7 mm of proptosis
   
Ishihara Color Testing  Minimally depressed OD;
 Could only see the control plate on the left
External Examination  OD: Normal    
 OS: 3+ tense lid edema that extended down the patient's      face to the angle of his jaw;
     360-degree hemorrhagic chemosis;
     Clear cornea;
     Formed and deep anterior chamber without hyphema;
     Flat and round pupil;
     Clear lens.
   
Dilated Fundoscopic Examination

 Pupils remained dilated from previous examination at the  referring clinic.

  • The examination revealed symmetric diabetic midperipheral dot-and-blot intraretinal hemorrhages.
  • Media, optic nerves, vessels, and macula were otherwise normal.
  • There was no orbital bruit
