June 6-7, 2012 Vaasa, Finland Sponsored by: Åbo Akademi University, Enheten för vårdvetenskap (Faculty of Social and Caring Sciences) There is a growing interest in research related to learning and development of individuals and organizations in education, in leadership, organization studies and administrative sciences. The common interest relates to the objects of the research and to methodologies and methods. Studyin human development in various contexts involves inevitably ethical aspects. Therefore the organizers invite participants, in addition to focusing on certain qualitative methodologies, to explicate and reflect on the ethical considerations in conducting research and using qualitative research methods within social sciences.
