The Australian Clearinghouse for Youth Studies [ACYS] has a brief to collect and disseminate information on youth issues. The chief vehicle for this purpose is the quarterly journal, Youth Studies Australia.

The ACYS operates under the auspices of the School of Education at the University of Tasmania. The ACYS is partly funded by the Australian Government's Department of Employment, Education, Training and Youth Affairs Youth Bureau.

In order to make international communication more efficient, in 1998 the previously named N(ational) C(learinghouse for) Y(outh) S(tudies) changed its name to the ACYS.

The Australian College of Clinical Psychologists, founded in 1980, is a professional association devoted to the support and development of practising psychologists in Australia.

The College is committed to psychology as a profession, a social science and as a means of promoting human welfare. The College aims to uphold professional standards of clinical practice through training, supervision and peer review. This process is conducted in a positive and educative manner.

The College is also committed to the development and assistance of students who intend to undertake a career in psychology, with specialisation in clinical work. Members of the College provide supervision, guidance and support.
