CSWE monitors national issues and legislation affecting social work education and promotes sound recruitment, selection, and career development policies to fulfill the profession's values and goals. Curriculum and training materials are prepared in such areas as: urban and rural social work practice, employment, AIDS, women, minorities, aging, substance abuse, child welfare, families, poverty, homelessness, mental health, and social services. Standards, guidelines, and technical assistance also are provided to continuing education programs. The official publication of CSWE is the Journal of Social Work Education. |
