About: | The International Resilience Project [IRP] is an international research project that is using different types of research methods to examine what helps children and youth cope with the many challenges that they face in life. It looks at this from the perspective of youth, elders and others in each community that participates. The project is working with children, youth, and elders in 12 countries and on 5 continents around the world. It is a 3-year pilot study funded by the government of Canada. |

About: | The Dallas Psychoanalytic Society consists of a group of mental health professionals who have graduated from psychoanalytic institutes of the American Psychoanalytic Association. The purpose of the Society is to provide a forum for the continuing education of its members, an arena to deal with political issues of the day affecting psychoanalysis and psychotherapy, and to promote the art and science of psychoanalysis, both to its members and to the public at large.
The Dallas Psychoanalytic Institute is a fully-accredited Institute of the American Psychoanalytic Association, whose purpose is to teach the theory and practice of psychoanalysis to qualified candidates.The training program is structured according to the rigorous requirements of the Board of Professional Standards of the American Psychoanalytic Association. The Dallas Foundation for Psychoanalysis, a non-profit organization, is a community resource supporting the Dallas Psychoanalytic Institute in its advocacy and advancement of psychoanalytic knowledge as a means of helping and educating individuals, families, and schools to understand human behavior and, therefore, to better respond to the stresses of today's complex world. |
