The European College of Neuropsychopharmacology [ECNP] was established in 1987 on the initiative of scientists and clinicians working in Europe in the convergent disciplines in neuropsychopharmacology. ECNP envisages to encourage research and facilitate communication of research and ideas in this field. ECNP is founding member of the European Brain Council and the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies.

European Evaluation of Coercion in Psychiatry and Harmonisation of Best Clinical Practise [EUNOMIA] is a project funded in 2002 by the Fifth Framework Programme of the European Commission.
