Health Informatics New Zealand, a new organisation, emerged in 2000 from two health informatics organisations: Nursing Informatics New Zealand [NINZ] and New Zealand Health Informatics Foundation [NZHiF]. Nursing Informatics was originally formed in 1990 and NZHiF was originally formed in 1994.
