About: | The Institute of Psychiatry [IoP] provides post-graduate education and carries out research in psychiatry, psychology, and allied disciplines, including basic and clinical neurosciences. Opened in 1923 and a school of King's College London [KCL] since 1997, it is the only postgraduate institution in the United Kingdom devoted to the study and practice of psychiatry and related disciplines.
The IoP is devoted to research and the delivery of educational programmes in mental health and associated fields.
