About:


The Telemedicine Department at the University Hospital of Tromsø was established in 1992. The Centre is now called The Nasjonalt senter for samhandlingsreformen og telemedisin [NST].

NST's aim is to contribute to making effective health services available to all, and the Centre is working on the development of telemedicine services in order to achieve this.

The Centre is divided into seven priority areas that will assist in attaining its objectives. Activities at The National Centre for Telemedicine are based on multi-disciplinary research and development. The Centre aims to function as the primary core of resources and expertise for all who seek knowledge and assistance in the field of telemedicine, both nationally and internationally.
