In their joint work, Frank Lachmann and Beatrice Beebe enriched psychoanalysis by providing life-long principles of the organization of experience, derived from empirical infant studies, that offer new ways of understanding and potentially transforming the analyst-patient relationship. Dr. Lachmann has uniquely been able to draw on his love of music to inform the analytic process.
