The SPRY Foundation's mission is to conduct and coordinate research and education efforts that seek ways to assist mature adults both in planning and achieving a healthy, financially secure and satisfying future. SPRY also disseminates information and raises public awareness about such efforts to achieve its vision.

SPRY works to support seniors through a broad range of education opportunities that are well-researched, timely, and culturally relevant. This includes the development and dissemination of education and information on topics such as Social Security, Medicare, and other interests. Based on the results of its research, SPRY conducts educational briefing seminars, conducts training courses, increases intergenerational outreach, and develops other dissemination mechanisms to provide information in a timely manner.
