  Tri-State Nursing Computer Network [TNCN]

(If you wish, click above for its home page)

About:

The Tri-State Nursing Computer Network [TNCN] was established in 1988 to serve as a resource organization for nurses seeking to expand their knowledge and use of computers within nursing. The intention of "Tri-State" in the name of the organization is to include persons in Pennsylvania and to welcome Ohio and West Virginia neighbors. Although the membership consists primarily of nurses, others interested in facilitating nursing education, service, and/or practice through computer applications can join. The goal of TNCN is better patient care through more effective use of automation. The primary strategies used to achieve this goal include educational programs, newsletters, a published directory of members, scholarship and leadership awards as well as support for professional networking.
