CASE OF THE MONTH

CASE #25

FOLLOW-UP 4 WEEKS LATER
  • Visual acuity: Improved to 20/20 OS after 4 weeks of prednisone therapy
  • The gray-white lesions faded, and fluorescein angiography disclosed window defects in the areas of subtle RPE depigmentation that were evident clinically. Papillitis was no longer present. By October 22, 2001, the fundus appeared normal, but the fluorescein angiogram disclosed persistent abnormalities.
