WHAT ARE THE CLINICAL FINDINGS?

The results of the slit lamp examination were significant for 2+-3+ superior lid edema and 3+ conjunctival chemosis with inferior conjunctival prolapse. Superficial punctate keratopathy was present with 4+ striate keratopathy and marked corneal folds. An arcuate area of corneal whitening was noted superiorly. The anterior chamber was deep with 4+ khaki-colored cells, 4+ fibrin, and no hypopyon. A dense cataract was present with 3-4+ nuclear sclerosis, significant posterior subcapsular changes, and no view of the fundus. Ultrasound exam revealed a 100% gas bubble.
