WHAT ARE THE FUNDUS FINDINGS ?

 Additional funduscopic findings OD & OS include

  • sclerosis of the arterioles;
  • perivasculitis;
  • development of intraretinal hemorrhages extending to the equator;
  • venous beading;
  • impaired central artery perfusion with minimal arterial flow at the optic nerve head (as determined by digital compression of the globe); and
  • pale and edematous optic discs.

 The vitreous was unremarkable, and no neovascularization of the disc or peripheral retina was noted.
