6-MONTH FOLLOW-UP
  • Prednisone therapy had been discontinued for about 5 to 6 months
  • Results of the examination were basically the same:
         No signs of temporal arteritis
         In the week preceding the follow-up visit, ESR levels reached 74 mm/h
