WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF THE PATIENT’S VISUAL DISTURBANCE?

Absolute scotoma secondary to an arteriolar occlusion.

Fluorescein reviewed OS: AV transit complete by 17 seconds. Macula shows slight delay in choroidal filling temporal to the nerve head. There is beading of the retinal vessels in the inferotemporal arcade and asymmetry in the pattern of fluorescein distribution between the arteries of the superior and inferior temporal arcades, with a delay in the inferior vasculature.

 

What is the final diagnosis and systemic workup?
